In 2010, Gary qualified through the club to fish the 2011 TBF State 2-Day championship tournament and then qualified for the 2011 TBF CT State Team. The 2011 team went on to fish the 2011 TBF Northeast Divisional 3 day event. Gary took 1st place on the team and qualified to go on to fish the TBF/FLW Nationals in March 2012. This is a major achievement and goal for all anglers! Congratulations to Gary and good luck at the Nationals! In 2011, Gary, as MR. BASS (top fisherman and boater) for 2011, also qualified to fish in 2012 the TBF State 2-Day championship tournament paid by the club for another chance to make the 2012 CT State Team again.
