How much does it cost to join SOCOBass?

Is there any financial costs to join? The club collects yearly dues from each member. The total is $100*, which part goes to your dues to the CT BASS Federation, part to the National B.A.S.S. Federation, and the rest goes to SOCOBASS.

Also, during the year, each tournament has a cost of $15** for entry fee, and prize payouts. Non-boating members who participate in tournaments are also required to offer to help pay up to $25 maximum towards gasoline expenses to their boating partner, who as a boat owner, expenses are much greater. The amount is flexible, but determined by the boater.

Also, you must be a subscriber to B.A.S.S. which is paid to them. The regular membership is $25. To learn more about B.A.S.S. membership, visit their website, and join after through the club.

Why are there dues to the Connecticut Bass Federation and National B.A.S.S. Federation? SOCOBass is just one club of many clubs in Connecticut. Together, they represent, and are members of the Connecticut B.A.S.S. Federation.

Each state has a B.A.S.S. Federation, which together, make up the National Bass Anglers Sportsman Society Federation.

Each of these organizations has it's own Member Benefits and events you are invited and welcome to participate in other than the clubs own events.
