| You do not
need a boat to join, but... |
...while
we welcome any member, boater or non-boater, having a boat insures you being
able to participate in club tournaments. If we do not have enough boaters,
then obviously a non-boater may not be able to fish an event. |
| There are
only so many boaters. |
Before each
tournament event, at the monthly meeting, tournament participants are polled
as to participation in the upcoming month's event. Then, participating
boaters are paired with participating non-boaters until there are no more
non-boaters. Sometimes, a boater will not be able to participate in an event
for personal reasons, so obviously that also eliminates a non-boater
position. |
| How many
in a boat? |
We will make
every attempt to accommodate everyone who wishes to participate, including
placing 3 in a boat when possible. This is a last resort exception as boats
are mainly designed to accommodate only 2 fisherman (live wells, seats,
etc.). |
| What else
does a Non-boater need? |
Every
tournament participant is required to bring an approved floatation vest and
must wear it at all times the power motor is running. Also, your own fishing
equipment, tackle and food. |
